SpencePC Secures Denial of Motion to Dismiss on Section 101 Patent Eligibility Grounds in Northern District of Illinois Patent Infringement Lawsuit

April 14, 2020

On March 25, 2020, SpencePC client B*EIOR received a victory in its opposition to a FRCP 12(b)(6) Motion to Dismiss for Failure to State a Claim under 35 U.S.C. 101 when the Judge denied defendant Teradata’s motion.

Plaintiff and client Tad Lepman of B*IEOR is pleased with the results and looks forward to a successful resolution going forward and praises SpencePC for its excellent service and dedication in securing this result. Mr. Lepman remarked “the team at SpencePC produced a clear and convincing argument navigating today’s legal uncertainty regarding Section 101 and Alice case law.
